In the NHRA’s 67 years of organized drag racing, only one driver — Jeg Coughlin Jr. — has won national event titles in seven different categories. At this weekend’s 34th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals, Coughlin will try to extend that incredible mark to eight when he tries to win a Wally in Phil Unruh’s Twin Turbo Top Sportsman Corvette built by Race Tech Race Cars.

President of Race Tech Russ Farmer along with Patrick Barnhill Engine Tuner, and Phil & Carla Unruh will be taking car of the crew duties, as Jeg tries for another category win. After the national event Phil and crew will hold over for some more testing and seat time as Phil will be preparing for an all out assault in Top Sportsman for the 2018 season.
